MY STORY
Jambaby was born out of a personal desire to dance and exercise regularly without having to join a gym or pay for childcare in addition to classes. Like me, my 4 year old daughter loves to dance, so I created a fun way for us to dance together. We are not amazing dancers (by any stretch of the imagination), but we both like to move our bodies. If you do, too, or would like to try we'd love your company. I am pretty sure you will have fun. We are very fun.
BIO
Shannon Price was born and raised in Alabama where she attended Samford University & UAB School of Optometry. In 2001, she moved to Seattle to pursue a Masters of Spiritual Nurture degree at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. In 2003, she began mentoring students at the University of Washington. She thought she would spend her life in the South, but she fell in love with Seattle's natural beauty, salsa dancing, and a good man, so she's probably here to stay.
Shannon's dance background includes childhood ballet, tap, and jazz. She was on UCA cheerleading staff and coached gymnastics with Head Over Heels. She also coached gymnastics at Crosspoint Christian Sports Camp. She enjoys social dancing (especially salsa, country, & flash mobs) and loves Zumba. Shannon is 43, married, lives in Queen Anne, and goes to Quest church. When she's not dancing, she likes to travel, scuba dive, read, paddleboard, write, snowboard, watch Alabama football, and play scrabble.
